Information collected automatically

Log file information

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service. This log file information may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Analytics to understand how visitors use our Service. This service collects information about your device, browser, and how you interact with the Service, including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or source
  • Device type, operating system, and browser type
  • Geographic location (country/city level only)
  • Performance metrics (page load times, errors)

Cloudflare Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or track individual users across websites. The data collected is aggregated and anonymized.

Cookies

Our Service uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We also use cookies for:

Change of control

If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of LV2 or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. The buyer or transferee will have to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

Legal requests and preventing harm

We may access, preserve, and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. We may also access, preserve, and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; and to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information we receive about you may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.

Safety and Security

LV2 has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures by using modern security technologies to protect your information against misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, unauthorized modification or any other form of unlawful processing. We use safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Service secure and take steps (such as requiring a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your account. However, LV2 cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to LV2 or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. We request you to do your part to help us. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to emails between you and LV2, at all times. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.

Data Retention

In accordance with the law, LV2 does not retain data any longer than is required for attaining the purposes for which they were collected, unless LV2 is obliged to do so based on a legal provision. Specifically:

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after account deletion (to allow for account recovery and prevent abuse)
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years after the transaction (required by Dutch tax law)
  • Analytics data: Aggregated analytics are retained for 90 days (Cloudflare default)
  • Marketing communications: Email addresses on mailing lists are retained until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days to process the unsubscribe request
  • Support communications: Retained for 3 years to help resolve disputes and improve our Service
  • Legal hold data: Data subject to legal requests or investigations is retained as required by law

Your Rights Under GDPR

Right to access

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). The age threshold for obtaining parental consent varies between 13 and 16 years depending on the EU Member State.
